The West Point Parents' Club of Greater Houston is a social and support organization for the parents of cadets attending the United States Military Academy, the United States Military Academy Preparatory School and AOG-sponsored Civil Prep. Parents and guardians of current and former cadets at both West Point and USMAPS are eligible for membership.

ACCESSING WEST POINT

To accompany your USMA New Cadet Candidate (“NCC”) or USMAPS Cadet (“Cadet”) on R-Day, you will need only a valid form of identification. Generally, a current Texas driver’s license, a valid US passport, or a a valid (not expired) Department of Defense-issued identification card will suffice. 

If you are not a Department of Defense-issued identification cardholder and you are interested in securing a USMA Local Area Credential (LAC”), which is good for your NCC’s/Cadet’s tenure, complete the application accessible below and deliver it for processing to the Visitor Control Center (“VCC”) at 2107 New South Post Road, West Point, NY 10996, Tel: 845.938.0390 or 845.938.0392.  The VCC is located on the lower level of the Malek West Point Visitors Center.  The normal hours of operation of the VCC are from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday.
